Dr. Jean, a medical graduate from IIWAM – International Institute of Wellness &Aesthetic Medicine (previously known as Aesthetic Academy Asia) shared her experience of studying at our academy. She is a family medicine specialist from the Philippines and studied Aesthetic medicine with the renowned International Institute of Wellness &Aesthetic Medicine. Below is an excerpt of her interview from graduation day.
We asked Dr. Jean about her experience of studying in the International Institute of Wellness &Aesthetic Medicine (previously known as Aesthetic Academy Asia), one of the best Aesthetic academies in the town, to which she replied that studying in Aesthetic Academy Asia is very different and informative. Overall, it has been a great learning experience for her.
On being asked to explain in her own words whether Dr. Jean would encourage others to take up Aesthetics and join the International Institute of Wellness & Aesthetic Medicine (previously known as Aesthetic Academy Asia) and why? Dr. Jean replied that she would definitely encourage especially doctors from the field of Medicine to take up Aesthetics. She says, “Most patients nowadays who are undergoing check-ups, consultations for medical problems also want to make themselves look beautiful”. Aesthetic Medicine is a very interesting field that not only involves treating the sick or pathological cases but also involves making people look more beautiful and confident. Dr. Jean also adds, “The approach of teaching in the International Institute of Wellness & Aesthetic Medicine (previously known as Aesthetic Academy Asia), is very different. I would definitely encourage my colleagues to enrol in this academy. The way Dr. Morthy teaches us from the theories to the clinical practice is really different”
